Daughters of Fortune (2016-2020)
Researcher, writer, mentor and dramaturg for Mind The Gap theatre’s project about
learning disabled parents. This involved a large-scale national research project, academic papers,
three theatre productions, short films, an exhibition and a photo book.


From Shore to Shore (2015–2019)
A trilingual play telling stories from Chinese communities in the north of England.
Two national tours to Chinese restaurants in conjunction with nine major theatres, funded by
Arts Council England.

A two-part adaptation of the novel by Pearl S Buck for BBC Radio Four Classic Series.

Commissioned by Challenge Consultancy to write 20+ micro-drama films/audio for training. These take a narrative ‘light touch’ approach to equality,
diversity and inclusion in the workplace.


Song of The Female Textile Workers

Storyline for mixed reality/digital media performance of Chinese Opera as part of the Bridging the Gaps research project led by Dr Haili Ma of Leeds University


Stirring Up the Past
(2021)
Two short audio dramas telling the stories of Leeds suffragette, Leonora Cohen, and Marks and Spencer’s first market stall. Written for Leeds Museums as part of an audio storytelling walk around Leeds.
